Opa Alfajores is growing, and we’re looking for someone special to join our team in our café & pastry shop in Adelaide C*D.

We’re after an experienced barista who genuinely loves working with people and is ready to step up and own the front of house. Someone who isn’t just after a job, but a place to grow, stay and become part of the family.

⚠️See you tomorrow Adelaide Showground farmers Market at Leader Street Precinct!⚠️

We're on the Move... but not far!

This Sunday you'll find the Adelaide Showground Farmers' Market at the Leader Street Precinct, still within the Adelaide Showground while preparations for the Royal Adelaide Show get underway.

The Leader Street Precinct offers both indoor and outdoor trading, with most of your favourite farmers, growers, producers and makers joining us, so you can still enjoy the full market experience you know and love.

Later, we'll pop up at Goodwood Primary School for a short time with a smaller, more intimate market featuring a selection of your favourite stallholders, before returning Back Home on Sunday 27 September.

Your support during our annual move means so much to the farming families, producers and small businesses that make our market what it is.

Alfajores (ahl-fah-HOR-ess). Say it once, and you’ll be craving one before you finish the word 🧡

An alfajor is two soft, delicate biscuits wrapped around a generous layer of dulce de leche.

We make ours a few different ways: dark chocolate, walnut with white chocolate, coconut, cornflour, and our classic yoyo, all filled with our signature dulce de leche (DOOL-seh deh LEH-cheh).

Still not sure how to say it? Come find us, our team loves a good pronunciation lesson 😄

You’ll only find them at Opa Alfajores, in our café or at the Farmers markets on the weekends. Made fresh, handmade by us.
