The Big Idea

In the fall of 2019, I took up the hobby of decorating sugar cookies. I’ve continued to practice and improve, always pushing my cookies on friends and neighbors. In early summer 2020, it occurred to me that I could do something more. I realized that I could use my interest in cookies as a thank you to people who choose to help causes I care about. So, at any given time, I will have a cause in mind that people can choose to help me with. It may be helping my family in Peru through tough economic times or donating to an organization fighting for racial justice, gender equality, or LGBTQ+ rights. Really, it’s just my small part to thank people for helping make the world a better place.
