First for everything. I can't remember if I've made a birthday cake in Ramadan before. I usually have the tendency to freak out and simply decline orders I can't handle. I guess I might have had the slightest shift in heart so this time I said YES. It was great!

So happy to be able to bake for my mum and celebrate her coconut birthday. She never fails to DM me on my stories and comment on my posts, I've gotten very lucky to be able to bake a cake specially for her. I very rarely get to sit and indulge in my own cakes but with mum and cup of tea its been the best start to the year.

So after 5 years of weird and wacky themes for my son's birthday cakes, I finally made a cake worthy of posting, only because he didn't ask for anything this year. He absolutely LOVED it, and his reaction every year is priceless; however, this one topped them all.

His themes/requests over the years have been: A hot cake from the oven, Undertaker, Bruce Lee, a mix of cakes from random places and a simple fortnight cake which went terribly wrong last year.

Having both of the children's birthdays 7 days apart, I'm always pulling my hair out to balance their birthdays. However, I did pretty okay this year, I'd say.

So lots of love on this cake.
My son will for sure want to see the likes and comments:)

Hello and happy 2026!

Some, or many, who know me and follow my page will know I start every year with my daughter's birthday cake. While everyone is gearing up to celebrate the new year, I'm usually in the kitchen whipping up a cake and causing chaos. As she gets older, the themes get more challenging. This year, her favorite has been Cinnabon, so it had to be done.

On to the next cake... wish me luck!
