Baraka, meaning blessings, is a luxurious oil perfume by Light of Sakina, created to evoke gratitude, grace, and spiritual connection.

Blending notes of rose, oud, and iris, the fragrance is warm, elegant, and deeply layered — designed to linger softly through moments of gathering, reflection, and celebration.
Through this collaboration, we wanted to bring together fragrance, gifting, and the quiet rituals that make Eid feel personal and meaningful.

For Naila, Eid memories have always been tied to the little things — the scent of Bakhoor in the house, trays of nuts and dried fruits passed around with chai, slow mornings after prayers, and homes filled with family.

These rituals and memories became the starting point for our collaboration with Lights of Sakina — bringing together fragrance, gifting, and the feeling of Eid as she remembers it growing up.

A collection shaped by nostalgia, tradition, and thoughtful gathering.

“بالنسبة لنائلة ، لطالما ارتبطت ذكريات العيد بالتفاصيل الصغيرة مثل رائحة البخور في المنزل ، وأطباق المكسرات والفواكه المجففة التي تُقدم مع الشاي ، وصباحات هادئة بعد الصلاة ، وبيوت تعجّ بالعائلة.

شكّلت هذه الطقوس والذكريات نقطة انطلاق تعاوننا مع “”أضواء سكينة””، حيث جمعنا بين العطور والهدايا وشعور العيد كما تتذكره نائلة في طفولتها.

For Naila, Eid has always carried the scent of Bakhoor.

A ritual that began after morning prayers, with the house slowly filling with warmth and fragrance before family and guests arrived. It was never just about the scent, but about setting the feeling for Eid, calm mornings, welcoming spaces, and traditions shared over time.

Even today, her Eid mornings begin the same way, with Bakhoor gently burning through the home as the day slowly comes together around it.

This season, we collaborated with Lights of Sakina to bring these fragrances and rituals into our Eid gifting collection, now live on the website.

“لطالما أرتبط العيد لدى نائلة برائحة البخور .

يبدأ الطقسٌ بعد صلاة الفجر ، حيث يمتلئ المنزل تدريجيًا بالدفء والعبير قبل وصول الأهل والضيوف . لم يكن الأمر يومًا مجرد رائحة ، بل كان يتعلق بتهيئة أجواء العيد ، وهدوء الصباح ، ودفء المكان ، وتقاليد متوارثة عبر الأجيال .

وحتى اليوم، تبدأ صباحات عيدها بالطريقة نفسها، مع عبق البخور الذي يملأ أرجاء المنزل بينما يكتمل جمال اليوم من حوله .

The thought behind evolving Stories of Bruijn was slow, intentional, and deeply satisfying. We wanted every detail to feel more meaningful with time.
Through conversations with Jaamuni Samundar, the designs naturally evolved into forms inspired by growth and ornamentation, where florals feel like they belong to the piece instead of simply sitting on it.
The colours were revisited, softened, and deepened until everything felt just right. Every layer was added with purpose.
