Christmas Cake: We have a light and moist vanilla cinnamon and walnut cake for Christmas. This year is tough being away from friends and family. Baking this cake had me tearing up. Miss you guys. Nevertheless knowing that you are safe and sound is all I need to know.... Merry Christmas everyone. May all your Christmas be bright❤️

Nivann turns 1: I was supposed to post this cake and the updates tomorrow. But I was super excited at how it turned out. This covid time has been super difficult for all of us. Amidst all this trial and tribulations to make the best with what we can is truly special. My second munchkin turns 1 tomorrow. I made this carrot and walnut cake with cream cheese frosting. Waiting to dig into this tomorrow.... more coming up .. watch out for this space!!!

There is nothing more comforting than red velvets. These are my go to cakes and the creamy cheese frosting is to die for. I love these and it’s so happens that my dad also stepped out of his comfort zone (the famous carrot and caramel cakes) to make them.
