My baking obsession began in my teenage years when I bought a boxed cake mix and pretended I was hosting a baking related TV show. I figured it couldn't be too hard to start from scratch and that's when the experimentation began. I love working with different flavours and fillings, it's amazing what you can create with just the bases of chocolate and vanilla. I primarily make cupcakes (hence The '
CUPCAKEry') and some desserts. So I'm sticking with that for now until or unless I develop the proper skills for cakes and other sweet treats. Also I would have named it 'Manolia's Bakery' but I might have gotten sued for copyright issues as it's too similar to another baking establishment (thank's a lot Allysa Torey and Jennifer Appel -_-)
