An interesting "Engagement Cake" for a friend whose fiancé (a fashion illustrator) drew their portrait in a pretty Heart-air balloon to go along with the party favors. My challenge was to base the cake aound that picture. So here it is .....

Here it is everybody, a big personal achievement for me in structure cakes. A Tangled / Rapunzel cake for a pretty lil disney princess fan. I thoroughly enjoyed doing this cake although sticking the tiny pieces of the roof seemed to take ages. :) .

Back to baking after a long break for ramadan and holidays. Have loads of pictures to upload and lots too share. Sharing my latest project, a Teddy themed cake and cupcakes for a 1st birthday. The parents asked for Vanilla sponge with chocolate frosting for the cake and Chocolate cupcakes with strawberry frosting.... Interesting combos smile emoticon.
