Let's talk baking...

Looking back at these photos from one of my cupcake decorating demonstrations brought back so many wonderful memories (I found the transition button 😁.

People often think the hardest part of being a baker is learning to decorate beautiful cakes and cupcakes.

For me...the hardest has been costing.

Learning how to accurately cost the components of an order and still build a profitable business has been one of the biggest lessons on my baking journey.

I've invested in courses from Bake This Happen and Philosophy of Yum, and have found these very helpful. Running a successful baking business is about so much more than creating beautiful cakes....🎂
