Coming soon!

Will be posting a lot of Tips some to my feed and all to my stories and saving them to my highlights to help make your baking adventures a little easier and a lot more fun

Baking Tips Thursday:

Make sure your butter or (baking margarine) is at room temperature before using it.

WHY?

Room temperature butter is still cool to the touch and will create a slight dent when you press your finger into it.

Room temperature ingredients emulsify (mix and combine) better. Which makes a evenly textured (no so lumps) batter. Which will bake evenly.

Creaming room temperature butter also allows for air to be trapped easier and the air expands when the batter is being baked which leads to a fluffy and light baked product.

Cold butter leads to lumpy yucky batter. And an strange textured sponge.

So Unless the recipe says cold butter, like for scone, or a paste like dough. Use room temperature butter okay. Awesome!
