We are the first generation to do things like this. Our parents tried with what they had, they opened the doors with the little resources available to them — and here we are, taking it further. 🇿🇦✊🏾

It has only been 30 years of democracy. Don’t let anyone make you feel like you are behind because you’re being compared to people who had completely different opportunities and circumstances.

We are still learning. We are still building. We are still figuring things out. And yes, being young and black in this generation is hard — but it is also one of the greatest opportunities we have.

This is the time to try. Start the business. Build the house. Create the brand. Take the risk. Fail, learn, and try again.

Usabani uhlupheka ngoba ngabe uyazama! 🔥

Our parents started the journey. It’s our time to take it further. 🖤✊🏾

We are building a dream that has taken almost 10 years. 🥹❤️

Building a brand from the ground up is not easy. It takes patience, sacrifice, consistency, and sometimes nothing short of a miracle. 🙏🏾

Our goal has always been bigger than just having a bakery. We want to build a successful Mbuthweni Bakery that will supply the whole of Newcastle with delicious, quality cakes — and one day, proudly have our very own Mbuthweni bread 🍞.

Now, we are taking another big step with Mbuthweni Park — a place designed to bring something special to our community, catering for both kids and adults. A place where families can come together, enjoy good food, create memories and experience our vision.

It has taken almost 10 years to get here, and we are still building. 🏗️❤️

The dream is alive. The vision is getting bigger. And with God’s grace, we will see it through. 🙏🏾
