Clearly this photo was not taken by a food photographer, but it had to be taken quickly before the teenagers devoured it!
If anyone is contemplating starting the sourdough journey, but is hesitant because of the time it takes. Just know that the amount of joy it sparks is well worth it!
To my fellow hobby-bakers, I have found that the best cheese to use when making a cheese loaf is mature cheddar. It delivers the best taste and texture!
