Sometimes, getting to a wedding venue can be an adventure in itself—especially after rain, when gravel roads are filled with potholes, dips and unexpected bumps.

My most recent delivery took me along one of the roughest roads I’ve encountered in a long time! 😅 Thankfully, another wedding vendor House of Gather gave me a heads-up, so I could prepare mentally and take extra precautions to keep the cake safe along the way.

And this is exactly why I personally deliver my wedding cakes.

Imagine the bridal couple or a family member trying to navigate a road like this with a wedding cake in the car! 🙈 With all the potholes, bumps and sudden dips, I honestly don’t think the cake would have arrived at the venue in one piece.

So, while you may not always see everything that happens behind the scenes, please know that every delivery involves careful planning, plenty of care and, sometimes, a few deep breaths along the way!

Because your wedding cake deserves to arrive just as beautifully as it left my studio. 🤍
