I had way too much fun with these! 🌺
72 little buttercream flower babies left the kitchen this week, and I genuinely loved every second of making them.
Buttercream florals aren’t something I do often, which made this order such a fun opportunity to play, create and push myself a little outside of my usual style.
There was a lot of piping involved but seeing them all come together at the end was so satisfying. I loved experimenting with the different flowers, colours and textures, and definitely came away from this order feeling even more inspired to keep trying new things.
I think it’s so easy, especially creatively, to keep doing what you know and what feels familiar, but there’s something really exciting about stepping slightly outside of that comfort zone and seeing what else you can create. If you don’t keep pushing yourself, you don’t grow… and I think that’s one of my favourite parts of what I do. There’s always something new to learn, refine and get better at.
