BASIC CAKE PRICING
All cakes are baked from scratch using fresh ingredients (I do not use pre-mix or box mix). I use real fruit and melted chocolate t
o flavour my cakes. This is the basic starting cake price (based on a 3 layer, approx 9-10cm high, cake with one topper), prices will vary depending on design and toppers.
6" 15cm (15 servings) – from R750
7" 17 cm (20 servings) – from R780 (Ideal for barrel drip cakes. Contact me for information)
8" 20 cm (25 servings) – from R850
10" 25cm (35 servings) – from 950
11" 27cm (40 servings) – from R1500
12" 30cm (45 servings) – from R1750
Cakes toppers and fancy writings client will have to order separately from an outside supplier. Information can be provided on request. Additional fee for barrel, drip, tiered or stacked cakes, specialty flavors, extra toppers or specialty fillings. Cakes from four tiers up carry a mandatory delivery fee based on Uber rates. I charge the same basic price as standard cakes. Please check above. Delivery is mandatory and costs are based on Uber rates plus time. CAKE TASTING SESSIONS and consultations takes place on my day off depending on my work schedule. They include five cake flavours and four fillings. The sessions are 30min long and cost R400 for two people (tea or coffee included). If you book your cake with me I will take the cost of the session off your final invoice. R50 is added for sweetie filled center, added nuts, fruit etc
R30 is added for choc chips

Basic – Chocolate buttercream, vanilla buttercream, coffee buttercream, strawberry jam
Complex (extra R40) - Nutella, cream cheese, chocolate ganache, Oreo, caramel, peanut butter, strawberry buttercream, lemon curd. Italian meringue buttercream
R30 for added crushed biscuit layer (biscuits of your choice)
Cakes are covered in buttercream as standard or can be covered in chocolate ganache for an additional fee of R100. Please note that currently offer whipped cream only on budget cakes range, as its very unstable to decorate. If you require any flavours not listed above, please let me know and I will accommodate if possible. CUPCAKES

Please note that I do not promise exact replicas of any pictures sent. I will use any ideas you send as inspiration only. Every baker has their own techniques and style and, although very close in appearance, it’s often impossible to make an exact replica. Please give me some artistic license and you will get a great result. If there is something in particular that you feel is a must have please note it under ‘additional requests’
CONTACTING ME
I am very busy baking during the day and I am very often covered in sugar. This makes it difficult and often impossible for me to answer phone calls. Please rather email or message me and I will get back to you when I can. This way I have everything in writing and there is no risk of orders or information being missed or forgotten. I generally attend to admin once a day in the morning. If you don’t get a response immediately please bare this in mind. I will get to you as soon as I can. Thursdays and Fridays are my busiest days. If your order is a RUSH order, Please put RUSH ORDER in your subject line. Thank you. ORDERING A CAKE
All orders are reserved on a first come, first served basis via a 50% NONREFUNDABLE retainer as I only take a limited number of orders each week. Orders are not considered placed until the retainer fee is received. Invoices are emailed through WAVE (please check your junk folder). Once the invoice has been sent you have 24hrs to pay the retainer fee. If you need more than the allotted 24hrs please check with me before paying it to make sure the date you want is still available. Dates are booked in the order that retainer fees are paid. Your order date is not guaranteed until the retainer fee is paid. I reserve the right to offer the date to other clients until I receive the retainer fee. The remaining balance is due via electronic bank transfer 2 days before pick up. If the balance of the invoice is not received on the final payment date, I reserve the right to open the booking date to another client. If the date is taken by another client due to the balance not paid, I reserve the right to cancel your order. The retainer fee is nonrefundable. NOTE: Besides sending one payment reminder, I DO NOT chase for payment. It is your responsibility to ensure all amounts are paid on time. Not doing so may make your order subject to complete cancellation and any money paid will not be refunded. Changes to your order design cannot be made once full payment is received. Changes are also subject to my approval and may carry an additional fee. While I will always help if I can, some changes may not be possible due to time restraints. I require min 2 weeks notice to book your order. Orders placed within one week of pick up will incur a RUSH FEE of R100. Cake collection is compulsory only except for WEDDING CAKES that are from 3 tiers where I charge a delivery and setup cost. In the unlikely event I become unable to make your cake due to illness or family emergencies or family obligation, I will pass your order on to a trusted baker in the area. COLLECTION HOURS
Collection times are from 9am to 3.30pm or from 5.30pm to 7pm (weekdays) or Saturdays before 10am. Please arrange a set pickup time with me and stick to it. Please do not be late as I may have to go out for supplies etc. Just because I work from home does not mean I work 24hrs a day. Please respect my family’s privacy by sticking to the arranged time. Also, I reserve the right not to respond to messages sent outside of working hours. By placing an order you are accepting all my terms and conditions as stated here and as stated on my invoice. CAKE STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION
Once you take possession of the cake it becomes your responsibility and refunds will not be issued for any reason once it is in your possession. In the unlikely event the cake flavour is not up to scratch, 80% of the uneaten cake must be returned to me for inspection before I will consider a refund. Recommended tips to protect your cake:
- Always hold the cake box with two hands from under the cake board only.
- When transporting, your cake needs to be on a flat level surface like the floor of your vehicle. Please drive carefully, bumps and sharp corners may cause your cake or decorations to slide or shift. Never put a cake in the boot.
- In warmer months your vehicle should be fully cooled with air conditioning on high. For cooler months do not run the heat while transporting. Heat/warm weather and cakes do not mix well. Avoid transporting a cake on journeys longer than 30min.
- Cake should be stored in a cool place preferably in a very cool room or a refrigerator. They should be brought out to come to room temperature before serving. Do not touch the cake until it is fully dry as condensation may cause the colours to run. It can take up to 2 hours for a cake to come to room temp.
- Cakes should not be displayed outside in temperatures over 27 degrees. Again, heat and cakes are not friends. If you must bring your cake outside please only do so to cut and serve.
