a fairly standard chocolate cake with a buttery chocolate buttercream and my signature almond white wedding cake with raspberry filling and light lemon buttercream

January = license renewal time!

Did you know that being a cottage food producer is so much more than just baking out of your home? We follow cottage food law as set by the Minnesota Department of Agriculture* and have certain restrictions such as no selling items that need to be refrigerated (such as cheesecakes or anything with a cream cheese base), no selling meat products, no sales of chocolate covered fruits or fresh cut fruits as garnishes…

Keep these regulations in mind when working with cottage food producers, the MDA sets them to reduce the risk of foodborne illnesses - your safety is important!

You may see treats that involve cream cheese frosting or cut fruit garnishes appear on my page, unfortunately those are not for sale and are just goods I’ve made for family and friends that I’m showcasing here. If you see something you really like, I can definitely try to create a replacement for you that fits the MDA guidelines!
