A little update from Trent Bakes… ❤️

I’ve gone back and forth over this decision for quite some time, but after a lot of thought, I’ve made the difficult decision to stop taking new orders for the foreseeable future.

Trent Bakes is a little business that I run completely on my own, and with life getting busier, I’m finding it increasingly difficult to keep on top of everything that comes with running a small business.

Alongside that, with the ever-increasing costs of ingredients and supplies, it’s becoming harder to make things financially worthwhile without considerably increasing my prices, something I really don’t want to have to do.

Please don’t worry if you already have an order booked in with me! Anything I have already committed to will absolutely still be honoured as planned. ❤️ This decision only applies to new orders going forward.

A huge thank you to everyone who has ordered from me, recommended me, shared my posts or supported Trent Bakes over the years. I’ve genuinely loved being a small part of so many birthdays, weddings and special occasions, and your support has meant more than you know. 🥹🎂

For now, it’s time to put the apron down and take a little step back.

It was such a pleasure to be part of your special day and create your wedding cake. The main cake was a classic Black Forest gateaux, paired with a selection of cupcakes in lemon, chocolate orange, red velvet, and white chocolate & raspberry, all made with so much love for your celebration.
