Hello!!
I know it's been a while since I have posted or given an update. I apologize for that!! It's been a crazy start to the year.
This year we are going to take time and really focus on our family. We have plans for lots of fun adventures this year! So that means I will be closed for 2023. I know, super sad!!! 😩 I do plan to have a few pop ups for certain holidays. Y'all will need to keep an eye out for those!!! I plan to be open for business next year. 😘
All of the love and support over the last 3 years has been just incredible. I couldn't have done any of this without the support of this community. You guys are amazing. I can't say it enough. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!!
Though I may not be available to make cookies for you, I know a couple other cookie decorators that are beyond amazing!!
I highly recommend Julie and Beth. They are so talented. Just remember to order EARLY. ❤️

November seems to have just flown by!
It's been a crazy busy month for us over here; two successful elk hunts, two early Thanksgiving celebrations with family, and all of your WONDERFUL orders. 😍❤️ I have some super cute sets to share from this week.

About 9 years ago I was trying to find myself. Pinterest had been out for a couple years. I like to scroll, checking out different fun and interesting recipes, crafts, ect. You name it, Pinterest has it somewhere! One day I came across a “pin” about Bridget Edwards at Bake at 350. I was immediately inspired.
My first batch of cookies were...you guessed it, AWFUL. I am talking they spread out, losing all of their cute shapes and they did not even taste good, with over done edges. My first feeble attempt at making royal icing was not right in at all. Total failure! But in order to learn, you do have to fail sometimes. I started to do the research and educate myself about making and baking cookies. It is a science, guys! Chemistry is a beautiful thing. After a few failed batches of dough and burns, the right recipe worked...for the most part. I vaguely recall that they needed triple the amount of vanilla. The icing that was the right consistency finally happened for me!! I was so happy. That was enough to get me into full “let's make a business out of this” mode. My business handle back then was C3 Bakery. I was all about cookies, made pretty good chocolate related goods and dabbled in cakes. I am talking dipped my toe into cake batter and decided it was NOT for me.
I needed to add a lot of gear to my very small collection of cookie related kit. There was a website that all my favorites loved; Karen’s Cookies. I jumped on to her shop and what did you know? She was LOCAL!! I pretty much fangirled when I met Karen and her husband, Mike, the first time. They are were so sweet and helped me get my start. I owe them a HUGE thank you. So Thank you so much Mike and Karen Summers! A fun fact, they started CookieCon, right here in Idaho Falls. Which is a dream of mine, is to be able to attending CookieCon.
Due to some life events, my path had to deviate from cookies for 8 very long years. A few family members and friends on facebook have tagged me in different cookie related posts over those 8 years. They were leaving seeds of inspiration that would sprout in 2019. March to be exact!
My first batch of cookies after eight years turned out perfect. It was kind of crazy! No spreading shapes and the icing consistency was just right. The stars must of aligned just correctly for that day. Again, it was enough for me to dive head first into “let’s make a business out of this” mode. I have learned many things over the eight years about baking techniques, tips, and tricks. I would compare it to like jumping back on a bike, but the bike is now a Ducati.
The cookie world back in 2010-2012 was a whole different world! There were no fancy, mini projectors to help you out. Instead, if you could afford it, you had a KopyKake projector which is a beast of a machine. Custom stencils and cookie cutters were not huge like they are now. There were no in home 3d printers are those extra special cookie designs! It was the stone ages, guys. But we did it back then and we do it now, but with a little less bulk and more creativity. Not to mention there is a MASSIVE community of cookie creators out there that are full of amazing information and inspiration.
Have you ever had that feeling like whatever it was you were doing, that it was the right thing that was just perfect for you? That is how creating cookies is for me. It feels like the right thing to do. I have always loved the art world. There are some many different possibilities and way to express yourself through art. So why not on cookies!! They taste great, look incredible and I get to work with my true passion of art. I do love seeing the very happy faces of my clients too. So for your next event, holiday, or because you deserve something special created just for you, I am your lady!
