Excellence is not an option at Pinnacle culinary Academy. Knife skills are essential cooking techniques for safely and efficiently cutting food into uniform shapes and sizes (like dicing, mincing, julienning),
primarily using the “claw grip” with your non-dominant hand and a rocking motion with a sharp knife for control, improving safety, precision, and cooking results. Mastering basic cuts like slicing, dicing, and mincing, along with proper knife handling (like the
“handshake grip”), ensures consistency and makes food prep faster and safer.
