Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis (LCH) is a rare, potentially lifeโthreatening disease marked by tissueโdamaging lesions formed by abnormal dendritic immune cells. Researchers are working to detect cell mutations that lead to LCH to ensure patients get the best treatment possible.

Ependymoma is a rare central nervous system tumor that often returns after initial treatment. Researchers are testing whether specialized immune cells can be safely administered after chemotherapy paired with surgery, helping to inform future treatment options for children with recurrent ependymoma.

Neuroblastoma is a cancer that develops from immature nerve cells, most often in young children. Researchers are developing a more effective immune therapy for neuroblastoma by enhancing specialized cancer-fighting immune cells.

Atypical teratoid rhabdoid tumor (ATRT) is a rare, highly aggressive central nervous system cancer affecting children under age 3. Researchers will engineer โarmoredโ immune cells targeting the cancer cells to survive longer in the body, giving children with resistant ATRT a new treatment option when standard care stops working.
