We are beyond thrilled to open our 7th bakery in the city where it all started 29 years ago... so we had to do something extra special... To celebrate, we will be launching a limited-edition flavor exclusive for Flatiron as an ode to the iconic NYC delicatessen treat: our unique spin on the Black and White Chocolate Chip Cookie. 🤍🖤
Doors will open at 8am and first 100 people will receive a swag bag. See you at 📍 2 W 18th St!

The perfect warm appetizer for your next dinner party or a certain big game coming up 🏈🧀🫕 Let’s make Baked Brie in a Bread Bowl! ✨
Ingredients:
⁃ 1 loaf Levain Country Boule
⁃ 8 oz whole Brie wheel
⁃ 1 thinly sliced pear
⁃ 3 tbsp fig jam
⁃ Olive oil
⁃ 1 sprig rosemary
⁃ 1 sprig thyme
Directions:
⁃ Preheat oven to 400F
⁃ Cut off the quarter top of your loaf with a serrated bread knife
⁃ Thinly slice pear and halve your Brie wheel
⁃ Use your cheese as a guide to cutting a circle out of the middle of the boule
⁃ Scoop out the inside of the loaf, making sure to leave around a 1/2 inch at the bottom for stability
⁃ Drizzle olive oil to coat the inside of the loaf
⁃ Spread a tablespoon of fig fam at the bottom of the bread
⁃ Add pear slices, cheese half, and herbs
⁃ Repeat until you reach the top
⁃ Bake for 25-35 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the loaf is golden brown
⁃ Garnish with more herbs and enjoy!
A lil homemade sweet treat is always on our “in” list ☺️🍞💌 Let’s make an Eggnog Bread Pudding ft. our Country Boule ✨
Ingredients:
- 1 loaf Levain Country Boule
- 2 cups egg nog
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375F
- Cube your loaf into 1 inch size pieces and set into a greased casserole dish
- In a large bowl, whisk together egg nog, milk, sugar, vanilla, butter, spices, and salt
- Heat up mixture in a sauce pan until everything is melted and combined
- In a separate bowl, whisk eggs and slowly add liquid mixture making sure it is cool enough not to cook them
pour custard mix on top of the bread and let it soak for an hour or up to overnight
- Bake for 45-60 min. Top with caramel, whipped cream, berries, and enjoy! 🫶
