I taught in public elementary school for 8 years. It was what I was naturally great at doing. I showed up everyday, and somehow God gave me the fire to show up, but here's what I regret: #1 Not have given myself a chance sooner. Honestly I was gripped by fear. I was afraid to waste time, resources and fail. I also had unattended anxiety. #2 I regret thinking that teaching was the only way God could use me. Turns out God can use bakers too 🤣! #3 I regret basing my worth on being a teacher. There's so much freedom in knowing that God created me, us with value. So no matter what career is, my value remains. If you're reading this maybe you're thinking of jumping ship from your current career to your wild dream, but you're too afraid, or simply can't at the moment, no matter what allow yourself to dream, pray, plan and make a leap of faith in due season. It's scary but it might be a calling that will bless you and others. The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace. Numbers 6:24-26

Two weeks into my business, 5 years ago, I had gotten asked by Roma to do a little segment for Great Day San Antonio for my co**has. I was surprised, nervous was not ready. I didn't even have a name for my business so I graciously declined. Then, the opportunity came back 3 years later. So I nervously took it and this is what I learned... #1 Internet trumps T.V. Most of my customers and potential customers get their general news on social media versus the actual local news. So, if you ever get an opportunity like me, you know what to do... repost that stuff on all your social media platforms. #2 Opportunities are Uncomfortable & Challenging Yes, but worth the effort. This particular opportunity didn't blow up my sales, but more so, it was a great exercise for me to get out of my comfort co**ha. This helped me to be more confident in my presentations and abilities for my business. #3 I have all I need at my fingertips. Literally, and so do you. I realized that using the creativity and the tools I have already can help me grow my business. Yes it's fun and exciting to be highlighted by others, but I can highlight my business everyday by being grateful for my customers and have excellence and quality in my products as well as working my social media platforms. #4 Success comes from God Commit your actions to the LORD, and your plans will succeed. Proverbs 16:3. This is the scripture I pray for before I work. Ultimately I learned through this opportunity and other opportunities I have had that at the end of the day God's favor is on my business and without Him and his instruction none of this will prosper. God is my source of creativity, inspiration, love for my customers and without Him I would have given up a long time ago. Y'all this is hard work, but God's strength sustains me. This thing I have with God is also accessible to you and I would say it's the most valuable. A relationship with God is eternal success. Thank you for reading this. I pray y
