Dearest friends,

I know I’ve been quiet. And I know many of my replies lately have been a bit disappointing, having to say no to many of your orders since Raya ended.

This Raya was a very personal one for me, and I spent most of it focusing on being present and celebrating with my family. The days passed so quickly that I didn’t even have the time to properly recap the Raya madness here. And now, I find myself adventuring through the south of New Zealand.

I’ll be home soon, hopefully a little more rested, a little more inspired, and ready to return to the kitchen again.

This Ramadan has been a little quieter here on social media for Dots.

However, behind the scenes, the kitchen has been full with trays baking, cookies being packed, tassels and tags being tied, and Raya orders slowly coming together.

I’m so grateful to share that orders for Orkid Raya 2026 are now officially closed, including all of our Raya cake slots.

Thank you, truly, to everyone who placed an order. It means more than you know that Dots gets to be part of your Raya again this year.

And a small apology if I’ve been a little slower with replies these past weeks. I’ve been spending my days deep in Raya production while also trying to enjoy Ramadan to the fullest. Something I didn’t get the chance to do over the years.

Your patience, kindness, and continued support mean the world to me.
