It's sweet bread Sunday! On this weekend's Massa Sovada trial I have learned:

1. Baking them in cake pans doesn't give me the wrinkly crust I'm looking for.

2. I like the textured sides that a foil pan creates. The smooth sides look funny.

3. It likes to stick to the sides of the cake pans no matter how much the pans are sprayed and floured🤦‍♀️

I wish I could tell you how many loaves of bread I have made to get this recipe perfect for you! But that's why trials are necessary!

Introducing our fresh baked Massa Sovada!🍞😋

Massa Sovada is a traditional Portuguese sweet bread that is sure to become a favorite. Fluffy and light, with a paper thin crust and the perfect amount of sweetness. It makes amazing french toast or pairs perfectly with your morning coffee (best served warm with a little butter🧈).

Our Massa Sovada will be available on our Half Baked stand for $12 a loaf. We can't wait for you to try it!
