Trying something new:
We had a client request “classy 21st birthday” cookies for her granddaughter. Seems simple enough, except birthday girl doesn’t eat gluten 😰, or like royal icing 😱
This gluten-friendly set is done entirely in buttercream, and it was a challenge but I love how they turned out!

Royal Icing Rewind

Decorating candy canes late night! We put our thing down flipped it and reversed it.. We use royal icing on decorated sugar cookies because it tastes like marshmallowy heaven. If you haven’t tried our royal icing yet, you really need to (like... now) because it is silky smooth perfection, and it dries hard but still has a soft bite to go perfectly with chewy sugar cookies!
