🥳 🥳 Exciting news 🥳 🥳

I am currently renting out a licensed kitchen at Hamburg Sweet Treats in Hamburg! This opens up a lot more doors for me and I will be selling baked goods there as well! Please stop by and get some desserts and an ice cream too!

This first week or so I will be focusing on cookies (just in time for Christmas gifts 👀😉) but there will be cakes, pies, and other desserts in their refrigerated case soon! Regular orders will still be happening as well so nothing on that end will change.

I'm so excited to see what 2025 brings!

Anyways I've used enough exclamation points in this post so I will leave you with this picture of chocolate chip cookies currently for sale in store!!

Week 4: Caramel week - signature challenge
Brief: caramel bisquit
Bake: A shortbread cookie with caramel and cashew center with a tempered chocolate shell*
Next time - pastry week!

*honestly didn't like the chocolate shell with it that much and next time I would just do a chocolate drizzle over everything

Week 3: Bread week - signature challenge
Brief: A filled yeast bun
Bake: An enriched bread with a cheesesteak and caramelized onion filling
Next time - caramel week!

Week 2: Biscuits week - signature challenge
Brief: A Viennese biscuit (i forgot to time myself for this one)
Bake: Strawberry lemonade sandwiches (Strawberry jam with lemon cream cheese icing and a lemony shortbread cookie)

I am already 3 weeks late but I wanted to do a baking challenge this year along with this season's British Bakeoff

Week 1: Cake Week- Signature challenge
Brief: An "elevated" loaf cake and a 2 hour time limit
Bake: Lemon zucchini cake with a toasted marshmellow meringue topping with candied lemons

Next time - biscuit week!

Smash cake for a cool 1 year old!

I'll be honest decorating cakes isn't my favorite part of baking (taste over style for me 😅) but I had fun making it 😄

Some bakes I wanting to do later this week:
- Chicken pot pies (not the soup haha)

- Ciabatta bread

Next up is using up all the zucchinis I still have! I have enough to make roughly 12 loaves this week so let me know if you want any!

Birthday cake for my nephew's 7th birthday!

The request was a Battle of Endor/ lego / candy vanilla cake 😄
There's m&ms in the center of the bottom tier and cookies and cream icing in the top tier
Cowtails as trees and lego candles and toys as decorations 😅

Took 6 hours (not including dishes haha) but he really liked it 😄
