Cinnamon roll mornings mean I’m awake extra early to roll, raise, bake, and ice all the tasty sourdough cinnamon-y goodness so it’s soft, fresh, and delicious when you go to enjoy one (or a few) at

They’ll be Soda Farm today along with some beautiful sourdough sandwich bread loaves for the Taste the Farm event from 9am-4pm (though getting there earlier may be better for snatching a baked good or two)! Today’s event is all about sourdough, a perfect day to pop in!

Tonight’s agenda: bread into the oven, bread out of the oven, repeat, repeat, repeat…. Well you get the idea! These and more sourdough goodies will be delivered first thing in the morning to ! Tomorrow grab some sourdough, tour the shop and farm, and stick around to learn about a great gardening practice- making compost tea!

Want to find some tasty true sourdough bagels, cinnamon rolls, and maybe a loaf of bread or two? Head to tomorrow for their Taste the Farm event! Word is there are plenty of plows out tonight… so beat your cabin fever tomorrow! From 9am-4pm there will be tours, demos, all sorts of teas and yummy drinks, and tasty sourdough offerings for sale from yours truly. Sourdough is the theme of the day, so if you’ve ever been curious, or have some questions about your current sourdough journey head over tomorrow and enjoy all Soda Farm has to offer!

Happy December! How about a Maple Glazed True Sourdough Cinnamon Roll to kick off the month?! While I’m not back to my previous cake baking, I did get to drop several dozen sweet sticky cinnamon rolls off at Soda Farm this morning! They’re having a super fun Christmas on the Farm event today with sweet treats and fun make and takes for the littles. So go grab a cinnamon roll and drink, and maybe I’ll see you there!

📣Announcement📣

Hello lovely friends, I hope you all had a wonderful Mother’s Day!

You may have noticed it’s been pretty quiet on my page, and truth is I’ve just had a difficult time keeping up with everything! I’ve still been baking and decorating and trying to respond to messages in a timely manner, but posting has definitely got away from me!

See, when I started this business I had a two year old and a 6 month old, and had done a good job setting reasonable limits for myself for a while— now with a 4 year old, 2 year old, and recently mobile baby, I’m having to set some limits again.

That being said, I am taking a hiatus from Lily and Sparrow for at least the summertime… I want to focus on my family, and spend more intentional time pouring into these sweet little souls I have been given to raise.

If you’re on my books, we’re good to go! Otherwise, please consider me unavailable for your Bakeshop needs until further notice.

Thank you all for the AMAZING experience of serving you for the last two years, it has truly been a blessing! I look forward to seeing what the future holds ❤️

TL;DR: taking the summer off with my fam, but love you all!
