I’m sorry to anyone that may have missed me today at the Camp Douglas Farmers Market. After a large custom cupcake order due this weekend and other obligations I just didn’t have enough left to prepare for today. So I made the choice to refill my cup today and spend the day enjoying my favorite foods, places, and doggo. 🥰 Sometimes self-care is baking; sometimes self-care is not baking.

I won’t be back for a couple weeks. I’ve got some much needed recreation over the next couple weekends. But I’m still open to taking custom orders in the meantime.

Hope everyone had a happy Father’s Day. This delicious thing didn’t last long with all the Father’s Day festivities, but was well worth the time spent picking berries at Northwoods Orchard and Farm Market. I was able to get the freshest berries to make my favorite cake to celebrate strawberry season. 🍓 ♥️

Cake: double layer 9” round vanilla cake with reduced strawberry juice
Frosting: cream cheese frosting with reserved strawberry solids. Fresh sliced strawberries and extra frosting between the layers.
