Well I think you can get from the title that it's not exactly good news ahead. I'm not gonna beat around the bush: not your mama will have to find another way to keep going.
Don't be alarmed, it's not the end. It won't ever be. This I'm sure of. If there is anything to take away from my post, it's this: NOT YOUR MAMA IS MY MAGNUM OPUS, and I'm not about to let it die.
But waiting around everyday for orders to come in doesn't work either. I will have to temporarily shut it down. And it has taken everything in me to even make this decision, to even think about having to go this route.
Truthfully, coming to this decision took a massive weight off my chest. I'm sad to see my dream get put on hold, but I'm excited about the new path ahead. It's two steps forward, one step back but it's okay. I'm working and learning more about pastry from my new job. I can't wait to apply all this new knowledge to my creations for not your mama. When the financial burden is temporarily removed from my brand, I look forward to be creative again and just go all out on my ideas and bring you all the goodies that I've brainstormed in my notebook for so long.
All this goes to say, the new direction for not your mama is a pop-up bakery, or as I like to call: a traveling bakery. You have no idea how much the thought of doing pop-ups lights me up. I love meeting and chatting with customers about anything and everything. I'm adjusting to the new job so the first pop-up won't be for a little while. But watch out this space, because IT WILL HAPPEN I ACTUALLY CAN'T WAIT.
That's all. Thank you for stopping by. I will see you again real soon I promise.
