I have closed the business now, but still turning out the occasional cake to test my skills. This HP one is chocolate cake inside with whippy chocolate buttercream. I haven’t covered a cake in fondant for a while so this wasn’t perfect but not bad!

Why did I stop trading? Turns out I don’t like running a business. No fun. Baking cakes is the fun bit and I I can do that any time.

I recently travelled to New Zealand for my brother’s birthday. We were travelling in a campervan. He asked me to do his wedding cake 😂 In the end, we made a deal: he is a chef and baked the cakes and I constructed and decorated the masterpiece. Was pretty pleased with the result. And a wonderful wedding day to boot.

So seasonal!! Vanilla cupcakes with a secret salted caramel centre and topped with sweet little fluffy cinnamon buttercream pumpkins. Piped with a 1M tip you get the curves and ridges to nod towards the real thing.
