What is your love language?

We all have our own love language. For some, it is acts of service. For others it is words of affirmation or quality time. Mine is baking.

I grew up in a Hispanic household where everything from life to death centered around the kitchen. Naturally, I grew up loving to cook for others. Then when I learned to bake, I knew THAT was my true love language.

Flippin has a new Free Little Library!!!

We’re so excited to announce our new Free Little Library is officially open! 🎉 You can find our adorable little red book box in the school garden on the corner across from the preschool.

Even better our Little Red Box was funded through proceeds from our Scholastic Book Fair! Thank you to everyone who supported the fair and helped make this possible for our students and families. Thank you also to Mrs. Jennifer Bauss for bringing the book fair back and helping us set this up for our community!❤️

Here’s how it works:
📖 Take a book to enjoy at home.
📚 Bring it back when you’re done or pass it along.
🔄 Have books to share? Add them to the box for another family to enjoy!

It’s all about sharing stories, building community, and spreading the joy of reading. We can’t wait to see our families stopping by, discovering new favorites, and helping keep our Little Library full for everyone.
