Hey everyone! It's Clay here, stepping in for Marissa today. As many of you know, Marissa, our beloved Gluten Free Baker, is taking a much-needed break after an incredible final week. She’ll be back to give you all an update soon, but in the meantime, I wanted to share some highlights and thank you all for your amazing support!

First off, a HUGE thank you for your orders and for supporting Marissa's bakery over the years. Seeing a line of 25+ people before we even open is truly heartwarming and a testament to how much you all love her gluten-free treats.

For those who don’t know me, when I’m not acting as Marissa’s self-appointed delivery driver and front-of-house manager 😉, I work as a data analyst, so in that spirit, I crunched some numbers to give you a glimpse of what went into the final week:

📊 The Final Week by the Numbers:
• 751 bagels 🥯
• 246 pieces of focaccia bread 🍞
• 57 loaves of bread 🍞
• 342 cookies and sweet treats 🍪
• 300+ pounds of flour 🌾
• 11 grocery store runs 🛒
• 4 days
• 2 naps 💤

• Not enough coffee ☕

Even though it’s bittersweet that this chapter is ending, I know you all will help me in supporting Marissa as she pursues this next stage in her career that focuses on building and maintaining a better work life balance.

This is the last call for the FINAL PREORDER!

The order closes TONIGHT, Monday, May 13th at 8pm! Make sure to get your order in before the deadline. The order link can be found in my bio!

Since this is the final week, all treats must go! A selection of regular goodies and some specials will be available on Saturday, May 18th from 11 am - 2 pm! Keep an eye out for more information!

We are open tomorrow, Saturday May 11th from 11am - 2pm at Little Bird Gluten Free Bakehouse located at 358 Main Street in Yarmouth. Come by for some delicious treats!

Our final retail days are May 11th and May 18th from 11am - 2pm! The final preorder is still open and closes on Monday, May 13th at 8pm.

The Final Preorder is here!

This preorder focuses on all things bread! Take the opportunity to stock your freezers with your favorite breads, including focaccia, brioche, bagels, and sandwich breads. The order closes on Monday, May 13th at 8 pm for pick up on Saturday, May 18th from 11 am - 2 pm at Little Bird Gluten Free Bakehouse.

As we wrap things up over the next two weeks, there will be a lot of other goodies available during retail hours on both May 11th and May 18th from 11 am - 2 pm! Keep an eye out for what special items will be available.

The Mother's Day Preorder is now open and includes Eclairs and Cinnamon Rolls!

The order closes on Sunday, May 5th at 8 pm for pick up on Saturday, May 11th from 11 am - 2 pm at Little Bird Gluten Free Bakehouse. There will be goodies available during pick-up hours also! The order link is in my bio.

This week is my final week for wholesale deliveries! Make sure to stock up while you still can. There will be no retail hours on Saturday, May 4th.

The final preorder and final day to grab gluten-free goodies is Saturday, May 18th! The preorder will focus on all things bread, but a selection of sweets will be available for pickup.

There are fresh and frozen goodies available, including bagels, focaccia, Honey Oat Loaves, cookies, coffee cake, scones, and granola! This is the final opportunity to pick up Breakaway Bread goods so make sure to stop by!

We are still on vacation this week, but we have our next preorder for you!

Our next preorder has the same focus as the last one - all things breads and a few sweets! The order closes on Sunday, April 21st at 8 pm for pick up on Saturday, April 27th from 11 am - 2 pm at Little Bird Gluten Free Bakehouse!

This is Breakaway Breads FINAL PREORDER! Make sure to grab some of your favorites. There is a separate preorder for Friends School Portland and Portland pick ups.

For those of you who have been following along on Instagram or are part of my email list, you likely heard that I have decided to hang up my apron and pursue other things. This decision was incredibly difficult to make and is met with lots of different emotions, but I am excited to see what comes next!

Although Breakaway Bread is finishing up in the next few weeks, there is still time to stock up on both The Gluten Free Baker and Little Bird Gluten Free goodies! We will be around Saturday’s through May with some preorders sprinkled in. Stay tuned for more dates coming up!

I want to thank you all for your support! This has been an incredible experience and I am so glad I got to share it with you!

The shop is without power, which means no yummy treats today. If you have a preorder, please check your email!

Due to the storm today, the shop will be closed!

However, we will be open tomorrow, Sunday, March 24th from 11am - 2pm for all of your gluten-free needs! And yes, there will be cinnamon rolls!

All preorder pickups and wholesale deliveries will be on Sunday as well. Stay safe out there!
