The market is still open. Extra precautions are being taken.

Eastern Market will be open on Saturday, March 21st.

The food and necessities provided at the market are crucial to so many of you, now more than ever. In the immediate future, we will only allow vendors of food, vegetable plants, and personal care products.

We are continuing to provide additional handwashing stations at market entrances, increase the frequency of disinfecting in our restrooms, and reinforce requirements around food sampling with vendors. We encourage our guests to wash their hands frequently, limit their handling of products at the market, and practice social distancing while at the market.

We will be highlighting vendors and district businesses who are adapting their offerings on our pages. Be well and thank you for the ongoing support for the market and our community of businesses.

This rare fruit can't be consumed raw, but when cooked, it’s soft, tender and creates a delicious syrup. We recommend pouring it over yogurt to or baking it into a tart. 😋⁣

Last year a gentleman shopping at the Eastern market had set his wallet down at one of his stops. He came up to our space for some good donuts, scones, and cinnamon rolls. After putting his order together his eyes got huge because he realized his wallet was not where it should be. He apologized and said he'd be back since he didn't have anything to pay with. I just handed him his order and told him to try and have a better day and hopefully he finds his wallet. Well he remembered me from last year and stopped back through. He said he did eventually find his wallet and he appreciated me brightening his day! 🍩🍩 ❤❤

On our way to the Eastern market in Detroit. 11 donut flavors plus cinnamon rolls, apple turnovers, cherry cream cheese danishes, and 4 scone flavors. The newest scone flavor is chocolate with white AND semi sweet chocolate chunks! Amazing!

Giant cinnamon rolls and scones!!! Stop by and get one of 4 fabulous scone flavors. Today we have blueberry, chocolate chunk, apple cinnamon, and raspberry with white chocolate chunks. The cinnamon rolls are so big you could split one with someone you love, or have it all to yourself. Either way, they are amazing!
