As Tecumseh's Appleumpkin Festival comes to an end this year, I want to thank all the people who came out and seen us today. We made, and met so many new friends, and customers. We had only a handful of things leftover from the event, which is such a crazy thing!
My apple pies were front and center at this event. I exceeded my expectations and made 20 of them. All of them are gone, but I got at least, minimum, of 1,000 compliments on just the look alone. I can’t count the hours I was in the kitchen, even with help peeling, slicing and making the crust, so getting that many compliments made it all worth it.
I made 50 s’mores cookies for this event, they’re new this year to the fall menu. They are my browned butter chocolate chip cookie base, with a marshmallow in the middle, and a graham cracker base. Some people picked them up on Saturday, and came back Sunday for 2-6 more of them. Every single cookie was gone.
All 4 packs of cinnamon rolls were gone, including cookie butter, and cookie butter individual cinnamon rolls disappeared first day.
Plain banana bread you sold me out of, all 19 of them.
Everything is made with love, every detail is noticed. This was such a huge wonderful event, thank you Tecumseh, we hope to see you next year!
