Happy “rainy” Friday!

The farm stand is officially open for the season! 🎉

We have our fresh-baked cut-out cookies for you to grab up this weekend! Check out my sister’s video to see all of the other delicious goodies you can get your hands on.

Also, I just want to update you on what we plan to have there until we move:
•Cut-Out Cookies (weekly)
•Muffins (weekly, starting when fruits are fresh and in season)

I will NOT have cupcakes at the farm stand. You can, however, order them to be picked up at the farm stand. They do not do well sitting out in the sun (even on semi-cold days).

Hello, hello my Rainy Day Bakery followers! Let’s chit-chat for a quick second.

Yes, you read the posting right, we are moving! Our little family of four will begin our big move the middle of this summer. This has been something my husband Derek and I have prayed on and wanted for several years. In February we began the serious conversation on this and have felt lead to take the dive and make it happen. Here we go! 🏃‍♀️

As for my bakery, it comes along with me! My hope is after getting officially settled, opening my cottage bakery back up in North Carolina next year sometime.

•You can still place a personal order up until June 20th!
•My bakery will be at the Kidron Farmer’s Market Saturday, May 23rd through Saturday, June 27th. •Lastly, I will still have my goodies at Miller’s Farmhouse Market until June 27th. So come and grab your favorite sweet treats wherever you can through those dates!

I cannot thank you all enough for the support. It has been a tremendous blessing on me and my family. We appreciate any and all prayers as we make this next big step! Our move date will be here before we know it.

If you know anyone in North Carolina, be sure to send them my way when I’m up and running down there! Hopefully they’ll be close enough to enjoy the fresh-baked treats coming their way!

Holy cow she’s getting married! 🐄🤎🤍

Today’s cake is for a bride-to-be who just adores her cows. This brown cow print ribbon was the perfect addition to this cake. Per usual, I just love how this turned out. Simply beautiful!

This is a 3-layer, 6” cake. Perfect to feed 10-15 people!

5 is a vibe! 😎🕶️🌸

This cake was for the daughter of one of my managers when I worked at Longhorn Steakhouse several years ago! I’m so thankful she chose me and my bakery to create her little one’s birthday cake.

This cake was so fun to put together. The colors, the sunglasses, and flowers all went together so well. It truly is a vibe!

Happy Saturday everyone!

It may be on the chilly side, but the sun is out and that’s good enough for me! ☀️

This weekends order was to celebrate two sister’s birthdays! “FOURever sweet, sassy, and SIX” was the theme, so we went for a candy/candy-land themed cake and cupcakes. I love, love, love how this cake turned out. 🍬🍭

This was for two of my cousins daughters and I just have to shout her and the rest of my family (her immediate family) out for a second. Since the beginning of my bakery journey (almost a year ago), they have been some of my TOP supporters. For SO many birthdays and celebrations, they have asked me to do the sweet treats for them. Yes they are family, but it’s customers like this who keep small businesses going! I’m so thankful for them. 🥰

Princess pearls and fairy dust. ✨👸🏻👑

This cottage-fairy/princess party theme was the CUTEST! Little miss Emily, who I consider to be a niece to me, turns two today and we celebrated her yesterday! Her sweet momma ordered these floral and butterfly cookies, as well as the princess pearl cupcakes for dessert and I think they went along with the theme perfectly.

It’s even more special to be a part of the event you’re creating goodies for. 🩷
