What a month it has been! Summer coming to a close, back to school, new volleyball season starting, etc.
Besides all of the ‘normal’ life stuff, at the end of July I was hired to create 7000 cookies for all of the Valley Health hospital employees to be distributed today as part of their celebration of being named one of the nations Top 15 Health Systems.
There was so much planning and prep involved, long days and nights, speed-learning a new edible printer, advice and assistance from some awesome fellow cookier friends, having my amazing family give up their time/weekend to help with final production days, back cramps and spasms, carpal tunnel flare ups, and thankfully only a few minor tears 😂. Yesterday, the final batch was delivered and I cannot even put into words how I felt. I am so proud of myself for pushing and proving to myself that I can do things beyond what I thought I could do.
I couldn’t have done it without my family - they were my backbone and their support means the absolute world to me and words can’t even begin to express my appreciation.
🩷Thank you to the amazing staff at Print On Food for assisting me in getting Big Blue set up and running (especially Stacy for coming through in the clutch and helping me with RIIN, as well as Deborah and Jennifer).
💚Thank you to Jessica for assisting me in baking and icing!
🩷Thank you to my amazing family and all of the hard work you did to help me get these babies printed and packaged.
💚Thanks to all my friends and family for sending me encouraging notes and messages throughout the month while I worked away.
🩷 Thank you to Valley Health for trusting me with this order. I hope all of the hospital employees know they were made with love and I hope you enjoy them!
