Moonrise started in our Woodstock kitchen as a pandemic accident turned fun hobby, just two people obsessing over stuffing our favorite foods inside bagels.

Seeing Moonrise featured on the front page of the Off Duty section in The Wall Street Journal almost 5 years to the day of our Instagram debut feels pretty surreal.

What means the most to us is that recognized exactly what we’ve always hoped Moonrise would be: an old-school classic with a new-school twist. Something playful, exciting and portable while still keeping the integrity of the bagel.

Building Moonrise has completely changed our lives, and moments like this make us pause and feel incredibly grateful for our team, our customers, our families, and everyone who believed in this strange little stuffed bagel idea from the beginning.
