Been a minute since I've checked in! Still cookie-ing away at the bakery!

This weekend we will have breast cancer ribbon cookies at the bakery along with a variety of other pink treats. 50% of store sales this weekend will be donated to The Pink Lemonade Project. Stop by for a treat and to support a great cause!

THINK PINK!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. As a women owned business and having friends and family members who have had or are currently fighting their own battles against this disease, we want to show our support for this important cause. This coming weekend, Oct 13-15 we will be donating 50% of our proceeds to the Pink Lemonade Project.

We are so excited to introduce ourselves, the new owners of Sweetheart Baking Co., and give you an update on the bakery re-opening!

Our names are Stacey and Laura. We both have a passion for baking and connected at a Holiday Bazaar a couple years ago. Laura has built her client base on decorated sugar cookies. After taking a cookie class the month prior to Covid, she quickly realized she was on to something. In a very short period of time she has been able to showcase her creativity and skill to a growing customer base. Stacey is also self taught; starting her baking journey making cakes for her children's birthdays. She has worked as a cake decorator and her experience extends to cakes and cupcakes as well as cookies and other various baked goods.

We are both working moms who had the opportunity to take our love for baking to the next level and we couldn't pass up the chance to purchase Sweetheart Baking Co and make our dream come true! So when will we open? Very Soon! We have passed our county inspection with the exception of a minor repair. Once complete, we will have the green light and can announce our official opening date. Until then, we'd like to share some of our work with you to get an idea of what to expect when the doors are open!

One step closer to the bakery opening its doors! 👏🏻 Health Department came out Friday and we got approved for our permit. It will be issued once we make a couple small updates they require.

We will be doing more than just cookies! Cakes, cupcakes, cake pops... anything for those special events or let's be real, just because! 😆

Hi everyone! Just wanted to give an update on bakery life! We didn't realize when we took over that we would have to go through the whole permitting process starting from scratch with the county.... but here we are. 🥴

We are working to finalize the last few pieces of information they are requesting and then hoping to get our inspection scheduled. I am still taking custom orders during this time so message me to get on the calendar!

We are booked for the remainder of May and all of June. Hoping to be open before Father's Day but in the event that we aren't, we might do another pop up sale for goodies/taking preorders. Stay tuned for that information to come soon.
