We have another update to our cake ordering on our website.

Starting Monday, all custom orders will start with our new inquiry form at sugaredpetalcakes.com/custom-design-inquiry. This allows us to get all of the details necessary in order to give you an accurate custom cake quote.

We will also start all wedding orders in the same way at sugaredpetalcakes.com/wedding-inquiry.

Each of these forms will be used for cakes, cupcakes, and any other customized treats.

Please note that you can order semi-custom cakes online and we are adding the same for cupcakes, cake pops and macarons this weekend.

Each month, we will bring you a new, seasonal flavor that will be available in cake of course, plus cake truffles, and cupcakes. Our January flavor is warm spice rum cake with white chocolate cinnamon buttercream, pictured. February and March flavors below.

Happy New Year to your families from ours!

We are super excited to bring you so many new and fun programs, flavors, and more this year. Don't worry, we are not changing our cakes that you know us for and we will continue to ice our cakes in the swiss meringue buttercream you love as well!

There will be some yummy opportunities to try new things and get more of what you love with things like our upcoming "Cake Lovers' Club" which is a subscription program that you can try out for a month or 3 or 6 or 12 and be the first to try our newest seasonal flavors and products!

We will also have a Grand Re-Opening Celebration in the next few months with giveaways, discounts and family fun so watch our page for that, too.

We have started a new website where you can currently order cupcakes and cake pops, but we are adding cakes and more daily! Check it out at sugaredpetalcakes.com.

We are in the middle of a light remodel so we are curbside for a bit, which worked out coincidentally well with the increase in COVID cases that we have been experiencing.

TLDR: Prices are increasing starting January 4th, but you can place your orders for ANY pickup day in 2022 through January 3rd at current 2021 prices.

We are beyond grateful to have such loyal customer friends. We are also grateful that we have been able to stay in business through this pandemic when so many businesses, including several bakeries, have not. We hope that you will understand that in raising prices, we are simply trying to keep our doors open and keep our (also loyal) staff working as we serve our community. We have worked hard to keep prices as reasonable as we could even when costs of ingredients, packaging, and operations have gone up. At this point, if we want to continue to stay open to serve you the yummy cupcakes, beautiful cakes, giant cookies, cake pops and macarons that you have all come to love, we have no choice but to raise prices.

Because we are indeed so thankful for your business, we thought the least we could do is give you a heads up. If you are planning to place an order for a special occasion for ANY DATE in 2022, be that a birthday, graduation, wedding, etc…, we invite you to take advantage of current prices before they go up on Tuesday, January 4th. This gives you exactly 7 days to get your orders in at 2021 pricing!

Please call the bakery to order starting tomorrow, Monday, 12/27, at 734.672.7344 or private message us. Our new website is almost ready so after the new year, you will be able to pre-order online, including building your simple cake orders yourself!

If you are considering a cake order ahead of Christmas, please keep the following in mind:

1. We are almost full for the upcoming week ending 12/18. If you have a simple cake order, please get it in by Tuesday at 4:30. The only cakes we will be able to take will be iced white with borders and writing or edible images.

2. For the week of Christmas, we will be open normal hours except for Christmas Eve, which will be 10 am - 2 pm. Please have your order in by Tuesday at 4:30. We are filling up so get your order in soon.

3. We will always have cakes in various flavors and designs available for grab and go.

Get your orders for cakes, cupcakes, cake pops, and cookies in soon as we are very close to being full!
