The Sheridan Open Air Pavilion opens at 4 p.m. so you can stop by for live music, a hot cocoa, food, a photo with the grinch and more, on your way to watch the parade.

Apparently this Lil Debbie Christmas Tree Cake Dip has been tending on Tik Tok. I did not know that until I was trying to shop for them. Yet I decided to replicate it in the best way I know how, a donut. π© β€οΈ

I literally had to make a public Facebook post to search for an ingredient for the upcoming December menu options. Then we went to four stores, lost a shoe to the wind (see baby's foot) and you know.... "walked uphill both ways". π

To support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society I am participating in the 4 week Baking Challenge. Proceeds go to them to help support blood cancer research.
They helped me so much during my initial diagnosis when I had nowhere to turn. Seriously Outstanding!
This week's challenge is cookies but instead of baking cookies I am putting Oreo Overload on the menu with Strawberry.
Each week is a new challenge and I don't know what they are yet but these will be the flavors for the upcoming weeks.

I want to share a proud moment from my personal page and then I will get back to more donuts π π©
Yesterday was a busy day but I got it all done.
Truthfully there was a time I cried to God and prayed to see yesterday.
Melanoma is sadly not a cancer that is "if" it comes back...it is WHEN. And my next stage is 4. I cherished these moments before but I never thought I would have to feel a real sincere appreciation for being here.
But Lord I am so thankful to have seen my kids first high school dance β€οΈ When I was first diagnosed I said a lot "there WILL be dancing" π and here we are....I made it.
In the morning of this dance I woke up early and drove an hour away to honor someone's memory at a charity golf tournament by baking fresh donuts. She had sadly passed away from Stage 4 Melanoma. It was an amazing event. And although people were mourning it was a great way to Honor her memory.
It is more than an honor for me to praise someone's memory and I am thankful I could play a small part. Proud of the people who are carrying on her legacy also. The organizers did a phenomenal job.
I once read people are selfish for "time" and I can say I am in that category. When diagnosed stage 3c all I prayed was "let your will be done" and if His is for me to spread joy through donuts and share my story I am so incredibly thankful for y'all and what you help create with our Love through donuts!
I cannot thank each of you enough for supporting me, this Non Profit, and filling my tank by enjoying my baked goods and giving me more purpose. π Please tell someone about Melanoma today. It could save their life.

Yesterday was the first time I had actual help and it was great! It made the day fly by and was so enjoyable. If you have ever read The Five Love Languages (I champion that book) my tank was FILLED yesterday as mine is Acts of Service. My aunts came and ran circles around me jumping right in, taking the reins and working so hard. I just watched them in awe as no one has stepped up like that for me before at an event. In SC we had no family so it feels great to have the love and support.
As well sister in-laws came and helped with the kids and even brought dinner after so I didn't have to worry about cooking which is good because dinner was going to be donuts if it was up to me π
It truly takes a village.
My aunts and I will be there again today from 10am to 5pm. π The flier says 8 but everyone was given the option of 10 and I may appear young but my bones are 80 (from cancer treatments) so I'm creaking the whole way today lol
Looking forward to seeing everyone and enjoying another beautiful Fall day in Michigan baking up what we found out are the Best Donuts in Town π π© π

Reflecting on how much my son and family have been effected by this is heartbreaking. My son literally would not eat due to the side effects and it was hard to bare.
