✨ A Little Bakery Upgrade We’re Excited About ✨

Back in May, we welcomed our new oven to The Last Crumb, and today we put another feature to the test, the proofing setting!

For sourdough bakers, fermentation is everything. This feature allows us to control and maintain a consistent proofing temperature, creating an ideal environment for our dough to rise and develop flavor. 🌾🍞

Why does that matter? Better temperature control means more consistent fermentation, improved texture, enhanced flavor development, and even more beautiful loaves coming out of the oven.

We're always looking for ways to improve our craft and bring you the very best sourdough possible, and this is a game changer for our bakery.

🌿🧀 Loroco & Cheese Sourdough Was a Huge Success! 🧀🌿

Well... we had hoped to save some for later, but that didn't happen. 😅

Our first test batch of Loroco & Cheese Sourdough turned out even better than we imagined. The unique floral flavor of loroco paired perfectly with the rich, cheesy goodness of the loaf, and it disappeared within hours of coming out of the oven!

A huge thank you to our amazing taste testers. We hope you enjoy it just as much as we did. We can't wait to hear what you think!

After this bake, one thing is certain: Loroco & Cheese Sourdough has officially earned a permanent spot on The Last Crumb menu. 🎉
