I recently had an individual reach out and ask if I made Challah- a Jewish ceremonial bread. I told her that I did not but would be willing to try. She ended up being from another state and messaged the wrong business but I was still curious as to what Challah was. I took a semi-deep dive into reading about the Jewish holidays and the significance of Challah. I then decided to make it. Oh my. Amazing.
I don’t think I’ll make any other recipe for our regular sandwich loaves from here forward.
I think that rise speaks for itself🤩

I didn’t get a good “after” picture and it’s certainly too late now- it’s already almost gone.
If you haven’t tried it I definitely recommend.

It also makes the BEST Texas-Style French Toast!

UPDATE: 193 golden brown goodies! Absolutely wild 😅

That 35 # of dough has turned into 125 beautifully baked cookies + some.
