I know it’s just beginning to be spooky season 👻 but Christmas is quickly approaching and we want to do something a little different this year.
We know that for a lot of families, this year has been harder than most. Maybe it brought an unexpected loss, illness, financial hardship, a major life change, or simply one setback after another. And when you’re already trying to keep your head above water, the thought of providing Christmas can feel like one more impossible thing to carry.
So this year, we’re asking our community to help us take that burden away for one local family.
We will be accepting referrals for families who have had an especially difficult year and could use a little extra love this Christmas.
Our hope is to provide them with a complete Christmas..not just presents under the tree, but the things that make the whole holiday feel special:
🎁 Christmas gifts for every member of the family
🧦 Stocking stuffers
🥞 A special Christmas breakfast
🍽️ Everything they need for Christmas dinner
❤️ And the chance to simply enjoy Christmas together without worrying about how they’re going to afford it.

Referrals will remain completely private and will be accepted through November 24th. You may nominate someone you know, or you may nominate your own family. There is absolutely no shame in asking for a little help during a hard season.
On Thanksgiving evening, we will choose one family. We will contact them privately first, and their identity will remain anonymous. With their permission, we’ll share a general version of their story along with a Christmas wish list for each member of their household.
That’s when we’ll need all of you.
Community members will be able to choose gifts, clothing, stocking items, breakfast or dinner items they’d like to provide and drop their donations off at the bake stand. There will be no obligation to spend a certain amount — whether someone provides one small stocking stuffer or shops for several things on the list, it all adds up to one family waking up on Christmas morning knowing their community cared.

All gifts will be collected new and unwrapped so we can organize everything, fill in anything still needed, and make sure every member of the family is taken care of.
We started our little stand because we love baking and sharing what we make with this community. This Christmas, we’d love for the stand to become a place where our community can gather together to do something much bigger.
