🍪✨ BIG things are baking at Maggie’s Cookie Cottage! ✨🍪

We have an incredibly busy week here at the Cottage! Our largest custom order to date is officially in the final stages of preparation, which means lots of mixing, rolling, scooping, and LOTS and LOTS of baking!🧈🥚🍪

We are beyond honored and so incredibly excited to have been trusted by the bride and her family to be a small part of their special day. 💍🤍

And let us just say… we have a feeling this is going to be one of the biggest Pittsburgh-style cookie tables Akron has ever seen! 😍🍪

There are hundreds of cookies making their way through our little kitchen this week, and watching this order come together has been nothing short of amazing.

We can’t wait to see it all come together and, of course, share a little behind-the-scenes sneak peek with all of you! 🥰

We went to check out a newly reopened local bakery today Touch of Elegance. bUt JeN dOn'T yOu BaKe?! Yes! Yes I do! I bake just about every day 😅 however I love supporting local businesses and I like sampling other people's work. Maggie and I both agree the amount of M&Ms on the cookies is supreme! Overall, it was a very busy nice little spot. I hope they have tons of success in their new location. Cinnamon rolls weren't my preferred style but I could definitely see why people like them. Maggie was disappointed because there wasn't a sprinkle in sight 😞

Today, while out shopping for ingredients, the sweetest little surprise found me. 🌸💐

A very kind lady stopped me and handed me a tiny jar of flowers from her garden. She told me she was spending her morning driving around, sharing little bouquets from her garden with people. 🥹❤️

What a beautiful reminder that kindness doesn’t have to be grand or complicated. Sometimes it’s just a few garden flowers in a little jar, given freely to brighten someone’s day. 🌷

Needless to say, she absolutely brightened mine. 🥰

I hope these little blooms remind you today to look for the small acts of kindness around you—and maybe even pass a little kindness along yourself. 🌼

BIG news from our little cottage kitchen! 🍩🤎

Ohio recently updated its Cottage Food Law, and one of the sweetest changes is that donuts and fried pies are now allowed!🎉

If you know Maggie and me, you know we never need an excuse to enjoy a good donut. 😋

I'm busy working out all the details, but I'm hoping to offer a special donut day once a month, with fresh donuts available one Saturday morning each month.

There are still a few logistics to figure out, but I couldn't keep this exciting news to myself! I already have so many delicious flavors swirling around in my head, and I can't wait to share them with all of you.

Stay tuned… Donut pop ups coming soon as I try out making recipes in bulk!
