Say Goodbye to the Winter Blues
Hello Sweet Friends!
Is anyone else ready to say goodbye to these cold, grey, rainy days? I know I certainly am! I’ve always heard people talk about the “winter blues,” but this year they really seemed to hit hard.
When I moved South five years ago, I was thrilled at the thought of leaving snowy winters behind for sunshine and warm days. I did not expect a snow storm that brought about 8 inches! Now, I know my Northern family and friends who have been brutalized this winter are probably rolling their eyes at me right now, and rightfully so! I am so sorry y'all!
The good news is that brighter days are finally ahead. The sun is staying up a little longer each evening, and the signs of spring are starting to appear. I don’t think I’ve ever been more excited to welcome springtime!
Spring always feels like a season of fresh starts, celebrations, and gathering with the people we love. In the Coastal Sweets kitchen, that means colorful cookies, fresh flavors, and plenty of sweet treats designed to make those moments even more special.
This year Easter arrives early, right on the heels of St. Patrick’s Day, and my husband birthday. I’m looking forward to all the springtime gatherings, celebrations, and of course, sweet treats that come with them. I hope you have some wonderful celebrations planned too!
New from the Coastal Sweets Kitchen — Cinnamon Rolls!
Some of you may already know that this winter we rolled out (pun intended!) a brand new item from the Coastal Sweets kitchen. Our perfectly sweet, not-too-gooey cinnamon rolls. And they’ve been flying off the counters as fast as they’re made!
These delicious rolls are available by the half dozen or full dozen, and they come in two sizes: full-size (which, let’s be honest… they’re BIG!) or mini rolls if you’d like something a little more bite-sized.
They’re perfect for brunch, weekend treats, or sharing with friends and family. They also freeze beautifully, so you can enjoy some now and save a few for later; if they last that long!
You can order them Naked (no glaze), with our sweet browned butter maple glaze topping or with the glaze on the side, so you can add just the right amount whenever you’re ready to enjoy them.

Cookie Decorating Classes – Let’s Bring One to Your Community!
One of the most fun parts of Coastal Sweets is hosting cookie decorating classes, and I’m looking to add a few new locations to the calendar this year! If you know of a great space where we could host a class, I’d love to hear from you. Classes can be public events open to the community or private gatherings for groups looking to do something fun and creative together. Some great locations include:
• POA / HOA clubhouses
• Community centers
• Local businesses or event spaces
• Corporate offices
Classes are perfect for ladies’ nights, community social events, team building, or just a fun night out with friends. I bring everything needed, cookies, icing, tools, and provide step-by-step hands-on instruction. Guests can relax and enjoy decorating their own beautiful (and delicious!) creations. If you have a space in mind or would like to host a class in your community, please reach out! I’d love to work together to create a fun and memorable event.
