The official Farmer's Market season is over! We had some sickness and homestead projects this fall that kept us away from the last few markets. Now, I'm enjoying a season of slowing down!

Thank you all so much for your support and encouragement throughout the market season. We had so much fun!

I'll be posting about we're up to on "The Stead". We'll be finishing a cabin for Nana, garden planning, prepping the greenhouse, experimenting with fresh milled flour recipes and more!

Isn't she adorable!? 😍 My niece has arrived! Can't wait to see you all at the Lone Star Farmer's Market on Friday the 31st. I'll have lots of pictures of this cutie!

Our newest little Darling arrived early yesterday morning. We are currently in the NICU for some additional monitoring but she's looking good and the Drs are hopeful for a discharge tomorrow.

Her older siblings can't wait to meet her and I can't wait to get home to my crew of little Darlings!

🥚Eggs!

This movable coop has all my chicks from this year. Some my hens hatched, some I hatched in an incubator, some were a Tractor Supply sale!

I was able to hatch 6 guineas before my adults wandered off, not to return. They'll patrol the fields and eat lots of ticks!

Roosters will go to the freezer.

The rest will supply us with lots of eggs starting in the spring!

I will not be at the Lone Star Farmer's Market this Friday.

🌧 The weather will be cool and rainy.

I'm also waiting on the birth of my niece/nephew!

I decided to lighten my load this week, but will be back the 31st for Customer Appreciation week. I'll have free chocolate chip cookies for all my customers! 🍪
