Stop the presses!!!!

Today I did an experiment using A Royal Mix from .

I made a mock Swiss meringue buttercream using the ratios for A Royal Mix and water graciously given by .jessie , then used it to make Mock Swiss Meringue buttercream by …. Seriously delicious!

Elizabeth from does have a ratio in her recipe for using meringue powder. The thing is, a royal mix is not your run of the mill meringue powder. It is special. It is not a true meringue powder, so I went with Jessie‘s ratios and it worked!

No more throwing away unused liquid/carton egg whites!!!!!🎉🎉

So here’s the scoop….

3 Tbl of A Royal Mix
9 Tbl of warm water.
Mix and let it sit for at least 1 hr. ( Have a glass of wine in the meantime)

I then went to Elizabeth’s recipe for Mock Swiss Meringue buttercream following her instructions as if using regular meringue powder.
