Marty Kaszubowski: the Director of Innovation Strategies at Kaufman & Canoles Consulting. He has over 25 years experience with a broad spectrum of public- and private-sector organizations in strategic planning, technology assessment, policy analysis, marketing, program management, mergers and acquisitions, forecasting, financial management, and starting/expanding companies. Marty is an effective, widely recognized advocate for innovation-led economic development and entrepreneurship at the local, state, and national levels.
Ron Monark: Managing director, Alan B. Miller Center for Entrepreneurship Center. He has 25 years experience as CEO or COO in information (Mitchell International and KLM Automotive Publishing), transportation (ATE International), and manufacturing (Morgan Yacht) companies, and has participated in five new business startups.
Rick Spatz: Executive Director of the Executive Partners Program. Spatz began his 30-year career in advertising with Leo Burnett Company, moving to internationally acclaimed D'Arcy, Masius, and Benton & Bowles for a 21-year run
in management that included several overseas assignments. He led strategic and advertising development for agency clients that included Procter & Gamble, MarsInc., Nestle, Roche, Cadbury, Heinz, Union Carbide, and Chi Chi's Mexican Restaurants. Spatz left the U.S. in 1992 to work with D'Arcy overseas as Senior Vice President, Worldwide Account Director on the Mars Inc. business, gaining in-depth, hands-on involvement with most regions of the world, including the
initial opening of Russia and China to Western companies.
Robert Dickerson: Visiting Assistant Professor of Computer Science and joined the Faculty of the College of William and Mary in the Fall 2013. His PhD at the University of Virginia concentrated on a continuous monitoring home monitoring system for healthcare applications called Empath. He has broad technical interests including ubiquitous computing, mobile applications, speech processing, machine learning, and computer graphics.
Bill Bean: Director of the Triangle Business Incubator under the Arthur B. Miller Entrepreneurship Center at the College of William & Mary. He has spent working with, nurturing, and mentoring start-up and small businesses. He has a degree in electrical engineering from Oregon State University. His consulting company, RB Associates specializes in serving small technology companies.
Van Black: Alumus, Class president of 75'. Black directs a volunteer campus wide program known as Staying Connected which seeks to attract alumni resources to assist the activities of various student programs and clubs on campus.
Bob Condon: Executive Partner. He has 16 years experience in the banking industry, retiring as Executive Vice President and head of the Trust and Investment Management Department of Lake City Bank in Warsaw, Indiana. Before joining the banking industry, Condon practiced law, serving as managing partner of two firms where he was engaged primarily in real estate, probate, trust and municipal law.
Tom Rideout: Executive Partner. Tom completed certification by Georgetown University in Leadership Coaching in November 2011 and is currently principal of his own consulting company, Colonial Leadership Solutions LLC. Prior to his affiliation with the College and the business school, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Savannah (GA) Bank & Trust Co., leading an asset expansion from $275 million to $650 million over six years.
