🥖✨ A Little Bakery Update ✨🥖

I hadn’t baked sourdough in a while, and honestly…I wasn’t sure how these loaves were going to turn out. I pulled the dough out of the fridge today fully expecting a flop — but she surprised me. Golden crust, great rise, and that classic sourdough smell filling the kitchen. 🤍

It was a good reminder that even when life gets busy and baking takes a back seat, the magic is still there waiting.

🎆 Illinois for the Fourth 🇺🇸❤️

Kami’s Cottage Bakery hit the road to Illinois this week, and nothing says “I love you” like homemade treats fresh from the oven!

This Fourth of July, I had the sweetest time baking for friends and family — 4 sourdough loaves, 3 dozen cinnamon rolls, and all the cookies: chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, peanut butter, and oatmeal. 🥖🍪✨

There’s something special about sharing the flavors of home with the people you love most. Thankful for a cozy kitchen, full hearts, and full bellies this holiday weekend!

Sweet 16 + A Sweet Milestone! 🎉🍪

Happy 16th Birthday to my beautiful daughter, Vanessa! 💖 This custom cookie cake was made just for her—with so much love from Mom (and a little extra magic from Kami’s Cottage Bakery ✨). Watching you grow into such a strong, kind, faith-filled young woman has been the greatest gift. I thank God every day for you!

This cake was special not just because it was for Vanessa, but because it also marked a huge moment for me—our first public order went out the same day! 🙌🏼 A cookie creation for someone I’ve never met, but who trusted me to be part of their sweet treats. What an incredible feeling. 💫
