A New Direction for Held By Grace Bakery 🤍

A little bakery update! 🧁✨

When I first started Held By Grace Bakery, I honestly had no idea what direction it would take. This was never something I initially planned to turn into a business. It started during a really difficult season of my life, as something that brought me joy—and somehow, God continued to bless it, grow it, and open doors I never expected.

As the bakery has grown, I’ve also grown with it. And I’ve realized that Held By Grace Bakery is becoming something a little different than what I originally envisioned.

I’m officially moving more toward being an artisan bakery, which means I’m going to be narrowing my menu and focusing on the things that truly represent the heart, quality, and craftsmanship I want my bakery to have.

With that in mind, cake pops and cakesicles will be coming off of my menu. 🤍

This isn’t because I don’t appreciate the people who have ordered them—I absolutely do! But I’ve learned that running a business by myself means I have to be intentional about what I offer. I never want to keep something on my menu simply because I feel like I should.

Everything I make is made from scratch and with a lot of care, and some products simply require more time, energy, and attention than I can realistically continue giving them while also maintaining the quality I expect from myself.

And honestly? I believe it’s okay to say, “This isn’t where I’m being called to go.”

Held By Grace Bakery was built around God first. It’s about what He has done in my life, what He continues to teach me, and what He allows me to create for other people. I want my business to reflect that—not just in the name, but in the way I operate it.

So this is just one more step in allowing the bakery to evolve into what it is meant to be. 🩷

Cake pops and cakesicles will remain available for a little while longer, but I’ll be removing them from the menu later this evening.

12 DAYS. 😭🥹

August 20th is officially 12 days away from my segment airing, and honestly… I think all the nerves are finally gone. At this point, I’m just excited. Excited to see it. Excited to see how it all came together. Excited to watch something that was such a huge moment for me actually make its way into the world.

And most of all, I’m excited to see what God does with it. 🙏🏽

Because if I’m being completely point-blank honest, this segment is airing during one of the hardest seasons of my entire life.

When I filmed this, I knew life was hard. But I don’t think I could have fully understood what this season was going to ask of me.

I’m working two jobs. I’m building a bakery. I’m trying to take care of myself. I’m trying to grow. I’m trying to heal. I’m trying to keep showing up when there are days where, quite honestly, I don’t even know how I’m going to keep putting one foot in front of the other.

And there have been moments lately where I’ve had to be brutally honest with myself about just how tired I really am.

This season has challenged me in ways I didn’t expect. It has made me question things. It has made me angry. It has made me cry. It has made me ask God questions that I don't even know how to put into words.

But somehow… I’m still here.

Still working.
Still building.
Still dreaming.
Still believing.
Still getting back up.

And maybe that’s what makes August 20th so meaningful to me.

Because people are going to see a little piece of my story on television, but they won’t see everything that happened before it, everything that happened after it, or everything I’ve been carrying while waiting for this moment to come.

They’ll see the segment.

God sees the whole story.

And I think I’m finally at peace with that.

So yeah… 12 days. 🥹

I’m not nervous anymore.

I’m just ready.

Ready to watch.
Ready to celebrate.
Ready to be proud of myself.
And ready to see what God does with something I prayed over long before I knew where this season was going to take me.
