THEIR EVENT PLANNER GHOSTED/BLOCKED THEM A WEEK BEFORE THE BABY SHOWER!!!!

My sister cousin reached out last week and asked me to make DBZ sugar cookies for her friend's baby shower. The planner had ghosted them and being the amazing friend she is, picked up the duties to make this baby shower happen.

Being a mom, first and foremost, I couldn't say no.

Made them, packaged them and shipped them overnight.

That heart sinking feeling of a mom who puts plans together just for them to collapse is not a fun feeling, ESPECIALLY when it comes to baby showers and birthdays.

As a business woman, my job is to solve problems and from the baking aspect, I solve the problem of the clients cake/treat needs.

With any event, there are things that go wrong, but when she walks into her baby shower she will see these amazing cookies and that's one less thing she has to worry about.

No ghosting event planner can stop this joy.

As moms, we already carry so much expectation and worry on our shoulders, and when someone lets you down during such a vulnerable and beautiful milestone, it hurts.

I am just so incredibly grateful that I could step into the gap, pull off this rescue mission, and turn a stressful situation into a sweet memory.

Watching a mother feel seen and taken care of is the real win, and seeing everything come together for her is exactly why I do what I do.

Sending so much love to the parents-to-be today. Go celebrate, you deserve nothing but perfection.

May was an amazing month! Each custom cake was different from the next and I love that soooo bad!! Plus I had my first two pop up events 😁. This month was full of connections, opportunities and leveling up and i am so thankful. Now let's see what June holds.
